Team Tui Hits the Slopes

What an amazing day!! We are all very shattered but we have had one hundred percent success!! ALL kids skiied or boarded at least the beginners' slope from top to bottom without falling!! Given we started with 20 who had never done it... how is that for success?!! We have some awesome stories of success particularly around the habit of mind concerned with persistence and perseverance . We are incredibly proud of the Tui Team and be assured they all made their parents proud today!  A bluebird day with fantastic snow has meant all our prayers were totally answered!!

We Are Off

Up at 5 am and just in the final minutes before we load on the bus for Rainbow Ski Field - boy are we excited!!!

Huge day yesterday so no time to blog and with us not arriving back until 7 tonight we make no promises except that we are having a blast.  Then is 2 degrees and with clearing sky it looks like we are being blessed with a beaut day. Hope you all have a great one we will!!

Team Tui has made it to Teapot Valley

Hi everyone as you can see the crossing was a little bit breezy but a wonderfully tranquil one!! Everyone travelled extremely well which all the adults were delighted about! 

  Lunch was at Pelorus Bridge down by the river and again a superb setting for some great fun. The expert stone skimmers shared their skills and taught everyone else how to skim stones. Nine students were complete newbies to this wonderful activity. 

We are typing this at the end of a very busy but successful day - everyone is happy and safe. Time for our supper now so we wish you good night.
